How the pants get planted

Three steps. Zero fashion degree.

    Pick a pair. Add a plant.

    Pick your favorite outfit, then pop in a small plant in a removable nursery pot that fits comfortably inside.

  2. 02
    Keep watering simple

    Lift the nursery pot out to water. Let it drain completely before it goes back in.

  3. 03
    Deploy the tiny trousers

    An indoor desk or shelf, away from heat. Follow your plant’s own light and watering needs.

Why this exists

A dumb little doodle became a very serious pair of pants.

Pants on Plants started with a doodle and a very reasonable observation: plants look underdressed. The sketch became an original 3D model. The model became a printed prototype. Things got out of hand. In a good way.

Visible print layers. Tiny bags. Bunny slippers. Every detail is part of the fun. Our planters are 3D printed in small batches, with colors that change from one lineup to the next.

How do next drops and redrops work?

Register your interest on our Next Drops & Redrops page. Choose the next drop for news about a future batch, or request a redrop of The Sidekick, The Big Chill or The Weekender. Enough interest may help a favorite return. Requests guide our planning; they do not reserve stock, take payment or guarantee a restock date. You can opt out by emailing [email protected].

What is Pants on Plants?

Pants on Plants makes colorful 3D-printed decorative planters shaped like tiny outfits. Meet The Sidekick (slim trousers and a bag), The Big Chill (roomy pants and bunny slippers), and The Weekender (shorts and boots).

Are the planters available to order?

All three styles are currently sold out, and online checkout is paused. Use the Ask about the next batch button to send a request without leaving the site. We’ll reply by email. An inquiry is not an order or a reservation.

Are the three products just different colors?

No. The Sidekick has a slimmer trouser silhouette, The Big Chill has a wider rounded shape, and The Weekender has short hems and boots. Colors can vary between batches.

Does a planter include the plant shown?

The plants in our photographs show styling ideas. Plant inclusion, exact dimensions, pot fit, colors and pricing will be confirmed for each future batch before orders reopen.

How do I water a plant in a pants planter?

Use a removable nursery pot that fits your planter. Lift it out to water, let it drain fully, then return it. Keep standing water out of the decorative planter and follow care instructions for your plant.

Can I ask about gifts or a larger batch?

Yes. Email [email protected] with your preferred shape, quantity, date and destination. All products are sold out, so availability and timing must be confirmed before any order.
